Two years ago I got to start over and find a new meaning or purpose in life. People suggested that I join Girls Scout and I honestly hated it but then I met Nadia. She represented to me a different kind of a role model . She inspired me to be as kind and genuine as she always is . Her influence made be want to go all the time or to be around her . She taught me many valuable leadership and life skills. Her approach to changing your mindset on your own and to grow as a student, friend, and overall person is so uplifting and encouraging. My favorite thing about this way of learning was how collaborative and interactive it was , it really gave us a chance to experience how it is in the real world . We got to work with other, brainstorm, plan, communicate and all that while having the best time of our lives. The thing that makes Nadia special is that she genuinely cares about us and she cares about how we turn out . It’s been 2 years and hopefully many more years of learning and growing to come.

When my friends and I decided to take on the silver award project as a part of our girl scouts experience, we were blessed by having Nadia as our leader! She stuck with us through thick and thin and helped us overcome all our obstacles! We received constant support from Nadia both mentally and physically. I could not imagine the experience could have been half as enlightening if it weren’t for her! She has taught me patience, courage, confidence, and kindness and I could not thank her enough!

Nadia is an outstanding couch. She has worked with many young teens and youth and has proven that she can motivate them to improve themselves and develop an interest in whatever she is coaching about. For example, Nadia once coached a Girl Scout group to achieve an award for outstanding service within the community. She was in charge of planning of any and all events. She was the driving force for our achievement and helped to motivate each and every girl. When something needed to get done she did not give any excuses and had the determination and ingenuity to find a way. Overall, I have no doubt that my dear friend Nadia would be a great couch for teens and have an important impact on their development. She would be a lifelong mentor in their life many years to come even after the teaching program has ended.

Ms.Nadia is someone that made me feel welcome and took me under her wings from the very first day I met her. She always made me feel like I could be myself when I was with the Girl Scout troop. Ms. Nadia also drove me and the others to look into ourselves and find out what we can achieve and how we can change the world, even just a little bit. Her ability to be patient and kind to every single girl is the best I’ve seen. Each time I’ve seen her she’s warm, positive, and treats me as if I saw her yesterday. When it came time for the Silver Award, she helped and I truly can say I could not have asked for a better leader. I look forward to seeing Ms. Nadia’s work in her future years.

Sister Nadia has a good work ethic. She is also very passionate about what she does. I have personally had the opportunity to observe and even help as she prepares activities and helps youth and volunteers with their projects. Praise to a passionate and supportive mentor!

Nadia has been the most supportive and understanding leader, I could have had for the past few years. As my Girl Scouts Leader, she would constantly encourage me to take the next step in everything I do. I specifically remember her telling me and fellow assistants that she would set aside extra time for us outside of class to help us log volunteer hours for a President’s Award. Whether she’s encouraging us to work towards a Girl Scouts Award, discover untried personal skills, or attend that extra workshop, Nadia always meets us with motivation to advance. She is truly passionate and skilled in amplifying the voices of teens and empowering them towards their goals.”

I worked with Nadia for 8 years doing community work. I have to say that, I have learned a lot from Nadia specially when it comes to dealing with youth. She is very patient, considerate, understanding person. Always know what to do on the spot. Never panics. Very experienced specially with young generation. We started GS together, she took care of Junior, Caddette and ambassadors and I took the young angels ones.
